1.2 Ostronaut Inc., with its registered office in Delaware, United States, is the responsible entity (data controller) for the collection and processing of personal data as described herein.

2.1 Account Information: Name, email address, job title, and company details of Users.

2.2 Learning and Performance Data: Data generated when Users interact with learning content, such as course progress, assessment scores, skill levels, feedback provided, and any content created or uploaded by the User. This data is processed on behalf of the Customer (the employer).

2.3 Usage Information: Data about how Users interact with the Platform, including access logs, feature usage, IP addresses, and device/browser type.

2.4 Payment Information: Billing details provided by Customers, processed securely by our third-party payment providers. Ostronaut does not store complete credit card details.

2.5 Communications: Information Users provide when contacting our support, sales, or other teams.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 To provide, maintain, and improve the Ostronaut platform.

3.2 To provide Customers (the employer) with analytics and insights into team skill development and training effectiveness.

3.3 To personalize learning experiences and recommend relevant content to Users.

3.4 To process payments, manage subscriptions, and deliver invoices.

3.5 To provide support and respond to inquiries.

3.6 To send product updates, newsletters, or marketing communications (Users may opt out at any time).

3.7 To analyze aggregated and anonymized data to improve our platform, algorithms, and service offerings.

3.8 To comply with legal obligations and ensure platform security.

4. Sharing of Data

4.1 Ostronaut does not sell personal data.

4.2 Data is shared within a Customer’s organization as configured by the Customer (e.g., a manager may view the progress of their direct reports).

4.3 Data may be shared with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, payment processing, analytics) strictly for the purposes outlined in this Policy and under strict confidentiality obligations.

4.4 Data may be disclosed where required by law, regulation, or court order.

5. Data Retention

5.1 Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal requirements, or resolve disputes.

5.2 Upon termination of a Customer's account, their data will be deleted in accordance with the terms of our agreement.

6.2 While no system is completely secure, we are committed to protecting your information. Customers and Users are responsible for securing their own login credentials.

7.1 Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, update, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data.

7.2 As Ostronaut is a processor of Learning and Performance Data on behalf of our Customers, Users should direct any data rights requests to their employer (the data controller) first.
